Elina Calabrese received training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in 2023 by an EMDRIA approved training program. EMDR is a sensorimotor approach for treating trauma. See this YouTube video for more information about EMDR: https://youtu.be/Pkfln-ZtWeY

While maintaining adherence and fidelity to the standard EMDR process, Elina utilizes compassionate curiosity and creativity to tailor individualized treatment. Elina finds that using a collaborative approach to sessions establishes the therapeutic alliance, cultivates natural healing, and promotes lasting change.
